During my time at ASI Signage Innovations in Minneapolis I was tasked with conceiving an award for the Minneapolis-St. Paul chapter of the International Facilities Management Association. These were to be produced and presented to the winners of different categories.
I decided to keep this simple, classy, and modern. Something you would see in someone’s office that doesn’t look like a soccer trophy. (Not that there’s anything wrong with soccer trophies.) Starting with flame polished clear acrylic, we screenprinted the text and then the skyline on the second surface while still maintaining the transparency of the acrylic in some areas.
